Conscious Movement

Where is my soul?

When you start to read a post this question can be part of your automatic flow or it can become a point of change from an automatic movement to a conscious movement.
If you really stop, take a deep breath, remember yourself, ask the question, observe and even try to answer, it can be a conscious moment in an automatic movement. Hold your presence as much as you can and then probably right back to the automatic flow.
I hope you’ve understood already that the automatic movement is the natural stream of our existence. This is the way things are around us and in us for the good and for the worse. Most of them we can’t and shouldn’t try to change. There is a natural course for things. So what I’m saying is that if I would like to be conscious in a way I have to act against the direction of the automatic movement. YES, that is exactly what I am suggesting.
Someone once said: “Only dead fish go with the flow”
How can we be alive and present in this automatic flow of the world around us?
If we would like to be practical and efficient I would say by gathering more and more conscious moments and in time to learn how to prolong them.
There is another beautiful saying: "People are like feathers of the breath of God".
We all should struggle and fight to become (a least) a conscious feather.
If we’ll initiate, plan beforehand and  remember to have more and more stop moments during our day it can help us to be conscious (at least) through those points in our life.
Try!!! It’s a good, simple, not expansive and efficient start if you would like to be conscious in a crazy life.
I send to each of you Light, Love and Compassion.

Stop moments

Where is my soul?

Stop for a minute and ask yourself again “where is my soul”? Don’t let it be a line in the beginning of a post that you’re already used to see and that you automatically ignore. Remind yourself to stop, to read it, to take the time to answer it and then continue with your life; in this case - reading this post.
I know that it might feel like I’m nagging but you won’t regret asking yourself this question over and over again. If you’re doing it frequently make sure that this gesture doesn’t become automatic too, so whenever you ask it do it with intention.
About intention as a guiding arrow in the automatic flow of life – in another post.
So, the practical exercise that I’ve suggested in my previous post – have you tried it? How did it work?
I hope it worked well and that you did remember to stop on the time or point in the day that you’ve decided upon because if you did this short moment became a conscious moment.
Why? Because what you actually did was that you’ve decided beforehand on a time to remember yourself. You stopped by your own decision in the middle of the automatic strong and sweeping flow of your life. You remembered, you took a breath and for a short moment you hopefully felt “I am here”.
I’ve learnt that in those moments when you stop the automatic flow by a premeditated decision you can change the course of the stream, even for a short while, into a conscious flow because you decided to be present in the flow of your life - and you were.
In this action of stop, even though everything else around is crazy, rushing and busy it allows you to be fully aware of yourself, to be present so in this short moment you’ve changed the flow to a conscious movement.
Imagine that you could decide and have many moments like this? Imagine that you could prolong this short moment?
We don’t need money, workshops, gurus and excuses in order to start investing in and gathering drops of consciousness to our bucket. We can start now.
I send you Light, Love and Compassion

Story time

Where is my soul? Don't forget to ask it before you continue.

What is an automatic movement?

My husband is a story teller in his profession and he always says that when it’s difficult to explain something, just tell a story. So here is one.
An old master and his disciple were on their way talking when the disciple asked the master if he can explain to him what is the mind? What are thoughts?
The master answered: “all in good time”.
When they took a break under a huge tree the master asked the disciple to bring him some water from the well. The disciple said he would love to and went to the nearest well. Arriving to the well he saw this beautiful woman trying to bring up water for her herd. He helped her politely, fascinated by her beauty. In order to thank him she invited him to her village and he was happy to go.
When they arrived to the village she introduced him to her father, the head of the village, a wealthy man. The father was very grateful for his help and offered him to stay. So he stayed for a few days falling in love and ending up marrying this beautiful woman.
After a while she got pregnant with his first son and then more children came along. When his father in law died he became the head of the village. He was a good and wise man and brought prosperity to his village.
One day during the monsoon season a big flood started to sweep away the village. He saw the water rising covering the houses, the herds drowning, people screaming, his children trying to hang against the flow and he felt that he too was being swept by the water while still struggling in vain to reach his youngest daughter, when suddenly he felt someone  patting on his back. He turned around hearing his master saying: “just some water”.

A practical exercise – remember?

Every morning before starting your day decide on a specific time that you would stop for a minute or two and take a deep breath. It can be a specific hour, a specific point during the day - whatever will be practical for you. Do it without any means of electronic alarm.
Check and see if you can accomplish this small mission that you’ve decided for yourself. It’ll be interesting to check.

Automatic movement

Where is my soul?

Almost everything in our life is an automatic movement. Life is happening around us and in us.
The planet, gravity, nature, nights and days, the  seasons, our blood stream, our breath, the waves in the sea, the wind, our thoughts, our habits, our emotions  - the list is endless for this post to contain.
Stop! Take a few minutes, look around, dig deep and make a list of what you can define as an automatic movement in your life – it’ll be fascinating.
If you’ll continue to observe yourself for a few days you’ll find more and more things in your life that are automatic. Try it.
We can’t and we shouldn’t change most of the automatic movements because they include some very important and useful things, like instincts.
What can we change? What should we change?
Stop, take a breath and check what would you change in your life from automatic to conscious?
The course of our life is automatic. Think about it. We are in a certain point of the day, we are very active and busy and suddenly we find ourselves at the end of day trying to remember where were we the whole day? What have we actually done?
Did it ever happen to you too?
A friend once told me that when he was 27 he worked hard, was committed and very motivated  the whole week toward the weekend and suddenly he found himself in his 40th birthday.
If you would have moments during the day when you can be fully aware of yourselves I promise you that at the end of your busy busy day you would remember them; and most important - you would remember you.
Next post – story time from a long long time ago…. And a practical exercise.
I’m sending to each and every one of you Light, Love and Compassion

Matter and Movement

Where is my soul?

Do you remember to take a minute and ask it?

When I talk about my soul I’m referring, as I said before, to my biggest energetic part.
What does it mean an energetic part? What is the difference between an energetic entity and a physical entity?
In this post I’m going to write about two basic notions that helped me to understand better those two parts of my existence: the energetic world and the physical world. It helped me to understand my place between heaven and earth and it helped me to understand my relationship with the Universe.
The realizations of those two ideas have come following years of study and investigations.
The first is that everything in the world and in the universe is matter; the difference in things lies in the degree of compression and density of the matter.
What does it mean degree of compression and density of a matter?
The examples are endless just look around. A simple example to give a rough idea: a mountain and a river are both matter the basic difference between them is the degree of compression and density of the matter. Our body and our soul are both matter and here too the basic difference between them is in the degree of compression and density. A soul is much more refined material than a body.
I’ll expand more and more about this idea in other posts.
The second is that everything is movement. It means not only that everything is in movement, but that everything is movement. Movement is in the essence of every particle of the world and of the universe.
If I said that various materials differ from each other by the degree of compression and density. As for movement, the difference is whether it is a conscious movement, or an automatic one.
What does it mean an automatic movement? What does it mean a conscious movement?

In my next post I’ll elaborate about those two movements and how we can change sometime an automatic movement in our life to a conscious one.

A small hint stop moments?!

I send to each of you Light, Love and Compassion.
