Where is my soul?
Almost everything in
our life is an automatic movement. Life is happening around us and in us.
The planet, gravity,
nature, nights and days, the seasons,
our blood stream, our breath, the waves in the sea, the wind, our thoughts, our
habits, our emotions - the list is
endless for this post to contain.
Stop! Take a few
minutes, look around, dig deep and make a list of what you can define as an automatic
movement in your life – it’ll be fascinating.
If you’ll continue
to observe yourself for a few days you’ll find more and more things in your
life that are automatic. Try it.
We can’t and we
shouldn’t change most of the automatic movements because they include some very
important and useful things, like instincts.
What can we change?
What should we change?
Stop, take a breath
and check what would you change in your life from automatic to conscious?
The course of our
life is automatic. Think about it. We are in a certain point of the day, we are
very active and busy and suddenly we find ourselves at the end of day trying to
remember where were we the whole day? What have we actually done?
Did it ever happen
to you too?
A friend once told
me that when he was 27 he worked hard, was committed and very motivated the
whole week toward the weekend and suddenly he found himself in his 40th
birthday.
If you would have
moments during the day when you can be fully aware of yourselves I promise you
that at the end of your busy busy day you would remember them; and most
important - you would remember you.
Next post – story
time from a long long time ago…. And a practical exercise.
I’m sending to each
and every one of you Light, Love and Compassion
Esty
